What we teach,
and why.
NHLC runs a full core curriculum - literacy, math, writing, and rotating subjects - within a daily structure designed for how kids actually learn.
Creativity
Did you know that creative activities build problem solving skills, increase sustained attention, and improves memory retention? Our students engage in various artistic activities, allowing them to express themselves and develop their artistic skills.
Social Emotional Learning
Our SEL program helps learners identify their emotions, build healthy relationships, and make thoughtful choices. We build our "skills toolbox" through fun, creative, and intentional experiences that support emotional growth and confidence.
Science
Our science curriculum will be designed to engage young minds and foster a love of science. We will cover a range of topics to introduce Science through project based learning. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive and engaging science education that will prepare students for success in the future.
Reading & Writing
Embark on a linguistic journey with our language program, where students discover the beauty of communication through words, stories, and language-based activities. Our interactive approach promotes language development and cultural appreciation.

Play & Movement

"Play is the work of the child." - Maria Montessori
Our approach
At New Heights Learning Center, we believe in creating a nurturing environment where students can learn and play together. Our programs are designed to foster a love for learning while providing a safe and engaging space for children to explore and grow. We find great value in keeping our class sizes small to build deep meaningful relationships.
Mastery over coverage
We'd rather your child truly understand long division than rush past it. We slow down when kids need it, accelerate when they're ready.
Reading is everything
Strong readers become strong thinkers. We invest more time in structured literacy than most programs because it pays off in every subject.
Play is learning
Unstructured outdoor play is not optional and not a reward. It's developmental infrastructure. We protect it every single day.
